Pricing

Costs vary depending on the concept and creative needs of each project.

Level I

Creative Magic

Starting at

$6,000

1 Prep Day + 1 Film Day

My Director of Photography services

based on $3,000/day.

Equipment rentals are additional, as is Crew. But if budget is tight, I can throw in a low profile but badass camera and a tiny lighting kit. And I might bring a junior assistant. No matter what, I’ll always have a few tricks up my sleeve.

Add Tools & Toys

Level II

aprx

$15,000

1 Prep Day + 1 Film Day

Me plus a very small, elite crew and a selection of the worlds most advanced cinema equipment. Robot Motion Control Robots, Arri, Venice or Phantom Camera with a hand-picked selection of lenses based on project creative. I own all that stuff so it’s easier to squeeze in discounts and make it work. Very simple lighting arrangements can be included but extensive lighting setups usually require a bit more budget.

Bring the Sauce

Level III

aprx

$30,000

1 Prep Day + 1 Film Day

All-of-the-above plus full professional Camera and Lighting Crew, Food Stylist, Art and fabrication team, stage or location arrangements, with the world’s best lighting and camera equipment and access to the advanced technology that I’m known for.

This is a starting-off point, depending on the needs of the project. My budgets are always transparent.

Further Production

The costs described above are a starting-off point for basic small projects with succinct creative needs. Final costs depend on the creative needs of each project. Are we filming skydiving elephants? Do we have celebrity talent? Are there tons of practical or digital special effects? Music, graphics, voice over? Do we need tons of content and three or more film days? All that costs more.

Budgets can reach $80K to $125K or more, per Film-Day.

To manage these projects, I work with some truly legendary Executive Producers, Line Producers, and Production Managers so I canfocus on filming smashburgers or whatever. With American Cheese (yes it’s back!).
